The ISB for 2007 runs cleaner, delivers better performance and maintains fuel economy comparable to EPA ’02 compliant and certified engines. Ratings range from 200-325 hp. Plus, with an integrated compression brake as standard equipment, it even stops better. How did we make so many improvements and still meet stringent emissions controls? With a totally integrated system that includes our proven cooled-EGR subsystem, a High Pressure Common Rail fuel injection system, our patented VG Turbo, Cummins Particulate Filter and a crankcase ventilation system.
And these are just a starting list of some of the features. The ISB offers a choice of truck engines from 200 hp to 325 hp and a maximum 750 lb-ft of peak torque. These engines have the highest power-to-weight ratio in their class.

The superior performance of the ISB comes from a constant flow of high-pressure fuel, injected with precise timing for optimum burn efficiency. Regardless of engine speed, the pressure inside the common-rail fuel system does not fluctuate. An increased number of injection events per cycle results in an ISB that runs stronger and quieter than ever before, with more horsepower and torque on the road than any other engine in its class.
